RAGUSA
Ragusa is a city in southern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Ragusa. The road and railways to this place are well established, so getting in and moving out is not at all a problem in Ragusa. It has a reputation of having the cleanest beaches of Sicily. Four beaches to be visited in Ragusa are Marina di Ragusa, Marina di Modica, Pozzallo, and the Sampieri. It is also famous for the embroidery works carried out there. "Sfilato siciliano", Sicilian threadwork, is still used today to make bed and dining linen. One of the best delicacies of Rasuga is the "Modica chocolate" that can be bought from any confectioner across the city of Rasuga.

Festival of San Giovanni - This is celebrated from June 24th to August 29th. This is to honor the city's patron saint. The processions taking place are surely a must see for all the visitors and locals as well.
Street artists' festival - Organized in the month of October, this event turns into a large meeting place for all the jugglers, acrobats, and clowns. The festival is celebrated with performances of these artists.

Palazzo della Cancelleria - This palace was built in the 18th century. The facade includes a balcony, a tribune and large windows on the side.
Palazzo Vescovile Schinina - This is also known as the Bishop's palace. It is endowed with two large entrance doors, decorated with natural limestone elements.
Palazzo la Rocca - The facade has several balconies that are held up by different sized brackets and some interesting anthropomorphic figures. The rooms have got authentic eighteenth-century furnishings.
Cathedral (Duomo) of San Giorgio - This cathedral sits at the top of a monumental staircase that has 250 steps. The architecture is admirable.
